Most of the UCC’s events are open to the entire University of Minnesota but we retain some exclusive events for our members. Some of our members-only events include:

All of our events have been possible due to the support and participation of firms such as Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, McKinsey, and The Boston Consulting Group. In addition, our alumni have received and accepted offers from several of the previously mentioned companies.
History
The Consulting Club was founded by nine undergraduate students: Razvan Stanici, Darick Leach, Justin Tan, Nicholas Hammes, Steven Ochs, Alen Osmanovic, Austin Loeb, Jennifer Beasley and Vince Phan in May 2011.
They noticed students at the University of Minnesota, although extremely intelligent, lacked the knowledge and resources to compete against top tier business school students in case interviews.
Several consulting firms mentioned that University of Minnesota students have the analytical abilities, but they lacked the soft skills and the ability to crack the case interviews. The founding team saw an opportunity to create an organization which could offer the support in building and refining those skills.
The ultimate goal for the UCC is to become the channel where students would learn in depth what consulting is, receive insight about the firms and have the opportunity to interact with consulting companies at the University of Minnesota.
